This was a custom site build for Florida International Equipment & Supply, completed in 2024 while I was working as a UI/UX designer at Sandhills Global. The client wanted something visually bold and globally appealing — a site that would stand out from the standard heavy equipment dealer template. We leaned into cinematic design cues to build something memorable.
Cinematic Visual Direction
The look and feel take inspiration from action films — strong contrast, dramatic imagery, and a dark color palette with warm overlays. I used Figma to experiment with these aesthetics early on, refining layout grids and tone through wireframes and high-fidelity mockups. From there, I translated the design into code, building a custom front-end using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsive Design & Performance
The site is fully responsive and tested across devices, with interactions kept lightweight for users in low-bandwidth environments. I used Chrome DevTools heavily during development to fine-tune spacing, performance, and touch behavior across breakpoints.
