During my time at Sandhills Global, I had the privilege of spearheading the creation of a website for Automated Dynamics, Corp. (ADC), a prominent manufacturer’s representative specializing in factory and process automation products. This project marked a departure from my usual focus on designing websites for industrial equipment dealers, presenting a unique challenge that I eagerly embraced. Also unique to this project was the fact that I served as the sales representative and web designer both, whereas usually, I serve only as the web designer.
The website serves as a gateway for prospective clients to explore ADC's comprehensive range of products and services. Visitors can easily navigate through the site to learn more about the cutting-edge solutions offered, connect with field sales engineers for personalized assistance, or locate authorized stocking distributors within their vicinity.
Particularly challenging was the creation of the interactive map found on the home page and Territories page. This was created using a combination of simple PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS to ensure that ADC was able to edit their own map and add their own locations for their ever-expanding business.
Through meticulous attention to detail and a focus on user-centric design principles, we ensured that the website reflects ADC's professionalism and dedication to serving the needs of its clientele.
